Matthew Beymer (he/him) is an actor, writer, and videographer based in Los Angeles and San Jose, California.
Matthew is a rising fourth-year Theater student (Musical Theater emphasis) and Digital Humanities and Professional Writing double minor at UCLA. His love for bold and truthful storytelling guides his work as Assistant Video Producer and PRIME Magazine writer at the Daily Bruin, Photo/Video Director at Color Box Production Company, and Marketing Intern at Oye Group. Onstage, he has performed in UCLA TFT's Something Rotten, Into the Woods, and Bruin Fringe Festival.
Hoping to pursue acting and writing professionally, Matthew has engaged in storytelling across theater, documentary and narrative film, podcasts, and creative writing. He recently developed a podcast series entitled Avenue P: the Politics of Puppetry and co-directed Orgullo, a bilingual documentary project.
He is currently the Communications and Archives Intern at Skylight Theatre Company in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, California.
